This is a Short piece edited together to show the process and build of Alison Wilding’s steel sculpture ‘Shimmy’. It is permanently on display in the foyer at 10 New Burlington Street in London. The commissioned sculpture is made up of 400 individual stripes of mirror-polished steel that all slot together. It also contains 28 coloured acrylic spheres which create great reflections and refractions, emphasised and enhanced by the polished strips. All the footage was shot by the talented photographer, Will Scott.
